Keeps going and going and

After reading Eric's post, Matt made me go to Krispy Kreme *on an empty stomach* on the way home from church tonight to get donuts. That was real fun. Thanks a lot, Eric!

There are two things that almost guarantee that I'll like a song. One is when there are two main male voices harmonizing, i.e. Barenaked Ladies, Vertical Horizon, Pat McGee Band, Virginia Coalition, etc. The second is when there is acoustic guitar, and you can hear the guitarist's fingers sliding over the frets. And if a song has both, boy howdy.

Nihilist resume. "OBJECTIVE: I have no objective. What's the point when cold death is the final destination for us all?" Funny.

Definition of nihilist. In case you needed it.

Changed my profile pic again. Looks familiar, eh?

you're welcome!

i wish there was a krispy kreme factory near my house. the best i can do are the ones from the grocery store, but that's not the same at all.

Krispy Kreme is 2 miles away from our place. I'm actually surprised that we hadn't been there sooner.

Maybe we'll have to make a Krispy Kreme run during our next poker night.

yeah, we'll definitely have to make a krispy kreme run next time we're at yoru place. carly's never had fresh krispy kreme!

also, you should check out the song "simple man" by whitecross. it has male harmonizing and plenty of acoustic guitar. it's one of my favorite songs ever.

Is that the same song as the one by Lynyrd Skynyrd? I don't know if they did it first (it's been done by at least two other bands) but that's the one I know.

skynyrd's is a different song, but also good. whitecross's is probably much more difficult to find, since they're a relatively unknown 80's christian rock band.
